love it(and the price is good these days) , had a wii but sold it cause i was bored of it ... i wanted shooters, racers, .... some decsent games, so i have the 360 now modded it(cause i cant afford to pay 60€ for every game i want) and then there is the PS3... its a nice machine,but we know sony so it has to be the best, so they put a blue ray drive in it(and yeh blue ray won the war against hd)and how many cpu's it has again? 7-8?forgot hehe
but its to expensive

ok now you have a ps3 witout a game for 400€ but its stil much but il get one this year, I'm shure of that . cause some nice games comming out on it and are out already, i just hope their online function wil become better.
anyways I'm glad i have a next-gen console, the graphics are great, but that doesn't make the game. i stil play zelda ocarina of time, and those are some crappy graphics compared to 360and ps3 lol

Did I say Microsoft was better? Sorry..I meant to say I'm selling my 360 tomorrow to get a PS3. MGS4 alone overly justifies the price of a PS3! MGS4 for Ps3>Fable2+Bioshock+Mass Effect. Also Halo 3 is over hyped I'd much rather play Resistance Fall of Manhood *Edit* Resistance Fall of Man. Also why the hell would I play PGR or Forza when I can play Grand Turismo. No other racing games even compare! When Killzone 2 comes out it will definitely make the PS3 the system to get for shooter fanatics! Killzone 2 will destroy Gears of War 2 along with anything else thrown at it in the next E3. And games that are for both systems look better on the PS3 than Xbox 360 even though they are straight ports and don't support 1080p! Also for the RPG fans we get the new Final Fantasy despite Square Enix making other and more original Xbox 360 exclusives! And we don't have to pay for our service like Xbox Live. We may not have exclusive content or a large community but you can't beat free! On top of all this I get free PS3 updates plus a blu-ray player. Because whenever I watch a movie I need to be able to see every hair on a persons eyebrow even if its half a frame. Its worth paying 30 bucks for a movie I'm gonna get sick of watching even in standard definition! The PS3 has so much potential and I hope it will be unlocked before the PS4! Another game will come out as good as MGS4 because I believe in Sony. I say screw every reviewer that rates 360 games higher than PS3 games! Their opinion doesn't mean anything (unless its for MGS4 lawl)! I could go on and on about how the PS3 is better but I don't want to be a flamer or a fanboy. We lost a majority of our exclusives but I belive we don't need them. So let the best console win! Soon I will be a proud owner of the future winner of the consolewars THE PS3!!!!!!

So much fail...Bioshock and mass effect are not 360 exclusives. Both are available on PC.

Just wait for God of War 3 and Killzone 2

It's about 360 grilling better bacon than PS3. 360's so superior even the temperature of the console is significantly higher than PS3.

It all boils down to what ever floats your boat if you want the latest tech then the PS3 is the one to go for if you want to play all the top games 360 f you like gimmicks and gadgets then the wii id the one. At the end of the day its what you want and no one on a dumb forum can tell you what you should be getting.

For me I dont like the next gen consoles although the wife wants one so i guess we will be getting one in the end. I am more of the PC person at heart and as i have a good PC for the newest games that does me just fine.

Here's an interesting article for people that think the PS3 lacks good games. It uses a game rating of over 80 as good and under 60 as bad. And shows what console has the most games GOOD games. (PS3) and what console has the MOST games (360). But quality or quantity, what's better?

Since its release in 2005, there have been some 374 games released for the XBox 360. Of the 374, 92 titles have received a ‘good’ rating(an average ranking of 80% or higher, as per GameRankings). 86 have received ‘poor’ ratings(an average of lower than 60%). That means about 26% of the games for the 360 are ‘good’, and about 24% are considered trash. The PS3 has seen 122 games released, with 40(33%) good games and 20(17%) poor games(ironic considering the most common argument against the PS3 is a lack of good games).

Definitely true. But that's true for all new(ish) systems. Plus $60 a game means that unless you have the money to buy all of them then the 40% leaves you with a lot of GOOD (hehe) options!

Well too bad my PS3 doesn't heat up enough to cook anything. On the other hand, I think my 360 will make every piece of meat bacteria free in a blink. Not like I'll try it myself though.
I don't get people who're willing to open up a console just to take a silly picture. Too much time and money on their hands?

True,
40 good PS3 games in 20 months = 2 good games every month on average
20 bad PS3 games in 20 months = 1 bad game every month on average
92 good 360 games in 32 months = ~2.8 good games every month on average
86 bad 360 games in 32 months = ~2.5 bad games every month on average

You almost get an extra good game every month on the 360. And one and half extra bad game every month on the 360.
Well, good games and bad games according to magazine reviews from companies that fire devoteed reviewers if they give out low scores and lose an advertisement contracts. Or some magazine editor-in-chiefs of a specific console is married to a guy in charge of PR for that same specific console.
