Here's a link to the gun I'm referring to: link

My question is:

The GunCon 2 has a USB connection (for the controls) and a video composite connection (to sync the gun to your TV).

This Pelican Freeshot (LightBlaster) gun has those two connections and then a controller connection that fits into the controller slot.

Does anyone know what the controller slot connection does?
The USB connection is for all the control functions (buttons + direction pad).
So what is this extra connection for?

Thanks for any info!

No idea since I've never played the Time Crisis series on a home console but in the Arcades, you have that little Pedal dealie to step on when you want to duck behind things. Do the console versions have this too? Maybe that's what the extra slot is for?

[M]: For the home console versions, any button on the guncon os the pedal-thingy. (Except the trigger, obviously)
