when checking out some M3/G6 Real software downloads, i notice that with PDADS there is an "Optional" "pda.dat" file.

I saw somewhere on a French DS forum that PDA.DAT is a 'speech file for dictionary'.

To clarify, I believe it is a dictionary db file containing dictionary words.

It is NOT required to use PDA-DS. It is optional.

the question is how do you use it?

is there a dictionary in the pda?

There is a TXT file with pda.dat. It tells you to copy it into a directory underneath your PDADS directory. It should just work.

I haven't used it myself, but will try to give it a shot this weekend.
