Yeah, I have a 64 GB sandisk card formatted in exfat, haven't had any issues with it...yet anyways. doesn't mean they don't exist, and knowing this info now, I'm definitely going to be at the very least, watchful of things.
The only reason why I stick with exfat is to remove the pesky 4gb file limitation. I may get a separate, but smaller microSD card after reading this for homebrew as I'm not interested in 'backup' loading at least at this point.
I don't play backups either. I've yet to find any ROM or file that is over 4Gb.

My SD card fat32 and homebrew 2.0 my switch system 3.0.0 running fine with Psnes and Pfba dunno what wrong with pcsx_rearmed no hurry

@m4xw, retroarch has a lots of code, and it hard for debug (for me), so I prefer make small project with minimum functional for simple file navigation and code editing :D
But of course we can develop some together or exchange some parts of sources. Also I began to study arm & aarch64 asm, so maybe I can port gpu_neon plugin or dynarec to switch in the next couple of years))

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also I made few image output optimization (directly draw to fb, use gfxConfigureResolution instead of stretch image), add vps output (real speed of emulation). And with frameskip = 1 few games which I tested work with 20fps & 60vps.

Very nice work, dude! Works like a charm with most of the PSX games I tested only with very minor hiccups.

I haven't touched my switch in a few days, but when I tried this out, FF VII (up until the save point after Scorpion Tail boss and the tale of his amazing typo) and LSD: Dream Emulator up until Day 2...seemed OK to me, with very little lag, hiccups or any other minor annoyances (which I'm usually very picky on...) so yeah, it's pretty cool to see!

I can't fucking wait to play that teletubbies game on my switch.
(Best iDubbbz impression) Oh hell yea!
I personally cannot wait for "Mary Kate and Ashley: Magical Mystery Mall", you up for a few rounds? :D:D:D

Cant seem to use the thumb-sticks on Spyro 3 (Only tested this with Spyro 3 Year Of The Dragon with frameskip set to 0)

So far this has played Spyro with hardly any slowdowns or audio issues on SX os and ReiNX on 5.1.0 with the default settings in the config

Anyone test Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2?

Edit: nvm I tested, runs a bit slow, no sound as OP stated. This will be really amazing, when everything finally works. Keep up the good work.

Try retroNX, it's works with sound almost full speed.

There is a way to make use of aarch32 execution mode.
With some tricks we could get armv7 jit going.
Btw we ported a updated version of the unai renderer already which is by far the fastest (non-neon)

The performance you report is too low. You should not use frameskip.

Thats my chart https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sRAiKCYzCRYS9ARM8D-XeL5jbXGSlJg1S7DVXQnBc_4/edit#gid=0

is it necessary to download bios since the ps1 already boots up without it and if I get the bios where does it need to be placed to work in the switch folder or root of sd card.

So you are pulling up a month old thread to a dead project (a more performant pcsx-rearmed core is now worked on within the Retroarch libnx project, so use that), to ask if you need something, that you yourself identified as not needing.

Also the statement that a PS1 boots up without a bios is wrong, on many levels.

Not adhering strictly to your logic - if it works without a bios, it might work better with a bios, so use the bios, and for the folder to put it into - read the Retroarch libnx readme, or browse the folders it comes with for a bit.

PSX bios files should be in the folder using the following naming scheme:
SCPH101.BIN
SCPH1001.BIN
SCPH5000.BIN
...
SCPH7003.BIN

I havent listed all of them, you also dont need all of them, but if you use them, make sure you name them "like that".

Also, again - this is information for the Retroarch libnx project - not this one. Because the Retroarch core runs fullspeed (mostly) this one doesnt.

Oh nice, one thing I wanted to do with my switch is play symphony of the night on it, I hope this project will make some more progress so this becomes possible, keep up the good work man :yayswitch:

The same for me!

It's a quick port of PCSX-ReARMed, so currently it work with interpreter about half speed (maybe more), no sound, no menu.

Thank you so much rock88! And keep it up your nice work!!! Thanks again.
