Hardware PCI and PCI-E Graphics Card

Hi guys,
I was wondering, if i was to buy a new graphics card for my Compaq D500 that has PCI. Would a Sapphire HD5450 1GB DDR3 Graphics Card work on my computer? (see link) It says it is PCI Express compatible. Does that mean i can still use it in my computer which has a normal PCI?

Edit: The specs say NOTHING about pci-e.

Besides that, a PCI-E graphics card won't fit in a PCI slot. Check if the motherboard has a PCI-E slot.

The graphics connector is an AGP connector, which is incompatible with PCIe. The expansion card connectors are regular PCI, which is also incompatible with PCIe. Therefore, without a new MoBo you will not be able to use state-of-the-art graphics.
