Gaming PC game recommendations

Can some tempers recommend me some PC games ?

I prefer 3D Real Time Strategy, Action/Adventure, First Person Shooters
Dislike --> Puzzle games, Racing games

My PC specs are->
Windows XP SP 2
Intel Pentium 4 ,3.00Ghz
2X 512 DDR-SDRam
ATi Radeon 9550/X1050 series

Please recommend games that can be played on these specs

I don't like military type of FPS, maybe something futuristic or alieny like halo or unreal tournement

TF2 is not military type is it?
If you don't like it, you could always try Fortress Forever, I like that game.


Crysis is fun, but you need a good computer
And I dno't like multiplayer, but thats just me.

Your system meets the minimum system requirements for Dead Space,
but you know that means it'll probably have to be dumbed-down a bit to run properly.

(This is if you're running on XP. Apparently Vista requires 2 gig.)

I don't mind if theres no online play or multiplayer for the game coz even if there is , I won't be playing it online

If you want to play new games, you probably have no luck with your current system. There's plenty of good old stuff though, but you won't be able to play all these on full graphics:

• FPS:
• Quake 4 (mainly MP)
• Unreal Tournament 3 (mainly MP)
• Left 4 Dead (mainly MP,co-op)
• Gears of War
• Bioshock
• Half Life 2 + Episode 1/2
  
  RTS:
• Company of Heroes (recommended!)
• C&C: Tiberium Wars
• Red Alert 3
• Age of Empires 3
• Warcraft 3 (mainly MP)
• Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends
• Anno 1701 A.D.
  
  Action/Adventure:
• Fable TLC

Also, what's wrong with playing online/multiplayer? I think multiplayer, especially in RTS/FPS games, greatly enhance the gaming experience.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to recommend the Orange Box as well, you can't go wrong with that.
As for an RTS, World In Conflict, though that might be a little hard on your specs.

for RTS, you could try a game called "sword of the stars" it is a little oddball in having turn based strategic management, whilst having real time tactical combat. It is space based and 3d too.

and, of course the is homeworld 1/2, which are still some of the best RTS games of all time (with great mods too!)

In Gears of war , how is third person view ?
From the screens I seen ,is it something like devil may cry ?
If it is, then isn't it hard to aim for a shooter game ?
Can devil may cry 4 run on my current pc specs ?

BattleZone 1, BattleZone 2 and although not fully 3D, I highly recommend Tiberian Sun, especially its mods TotalWar.

With your setup I think,

Area 51 - FPS with aliens.
Tomb Raider Series.
Far Cry 1 - has experimental monsters.
Homeworld 1 or 2 - Space Real Time Strategy.
Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners - FPS Horror, with some puzzle
Deus Ex 1 - FPS good story.
Thief 1,2 or 3 - FPS Stealth'em up.

I would suggest others, but your specs are alittle low to enjoy them at there fullest.
