pc game question about cheats...

    can you use the (~) key (they call it the console key) to use cheats on any pc game like show in this video?

    also is there a website to get all the commands from? links would be nice

    I just bought an alien ware M11x and just started playing pc game for the 1st time...

    thank you very much for the help but the Tutorial to step 1 to 7 of the Cheat Engine tutorial (Explains a bit better) link is broken can you plz give me a link to another tutorial?

    The tilde (~) key is only used in a few games, so I would suggest doing what Rydian said and using Cheat Engine.
    There are also a few artificial "cheats" built into games, with a popular example being the Sims series and "Rosebud".

    If you're too lazy to use Cheatengine, try looking for trainers of the game you want cheats on. I'd post a few links, yet sadly most of them have warez on.

    Much easier to use than doing things manually with cheat engine, but trainers don't exist for every version of every game (and don't exist for some games at all).
