So I'm new to this Paypal thing, but I want to purchase something from the Trading Forums. Can anyone give me a quick run-through of how Paypal works? The help features aren't very useful. I'm not situated in the US by the way.

so did you make an account yet?
if not,
the go to the paypal website
and sign up
they will ask for your credit/debit card info
then, transfer the money to the other person
(they are supposed to give you their email for paypal)
just go to paypal
and there should be a tab
that says 'send money' or something
type in their email
and send it :]
pretty much once the other person receives the money
they will ship out the product

Ah. I see. They only accept credit cards? I'm thinking of transferring funds from the bank but there's no option to do so. I established an account and my friend helped me pay for some stuff using his credit card. I'm not sure how to change it now as well. Thanks for the help anyways, that was very helpful.
If you have a checking account, you can verify it with your checking information. It's all the numbers on the bottom of your checks. Then the cash is drained from your bank account when you buy something.
Ah. I don't have any checks or anything, just a card. I might as well pay my friend to do it for me again. Is there any way to store a few bucks from a credit card for a period of time instead of sending it at once?
