I saw your status. Please don't try to increase your post count by necrobumping old threads.
I'm not, n I don't care bout my stats or status, but saw he said he can trade in and get V1 switch for only $100 n thought that's not so bad.... Oh thought she was talking bout me..lol

Wasn't trying too. I only posted that to understand GBAtemp more, and this isn't a very old thread
Nobody has posted in it for a year and your post isn't what I'd call a necessary necrobump.

I was replying to @WiiMiiSwitch.

A year, I thought this came out 2 weeks ago
Nope, the thread was started in January 2020.
I can understand the confusion, though. I, too mix up the year, still.

Never say never. They one called the PS3 and Wii mini unhackable
I don't think anybody is saying that we will never find a way to hack it. But the examples you bring are systems that were hacked ages after they were released. The Wii Mini got its first exploit 7 years later after both the Wii U and Switch were released afterwards. That is a whopping 2 generations later. Who on Earth would still be using their Wii Mini regularly after that much time has passed? Plus there are still consoles that have never been hacked like the Xbox One. To look at it another way, by the time we get another exploit, you could have easily made the money and buy all of the games you were going to pirate (assuming you were going to pirate).

Actually, there was an Xbox one exploit, but it was never released to the public. , May a soft hack come, yes. May it never come, yes. However it isn't guaranteed for either sides. As for the Wii mini, no one looked into hacking that, but happened when they were looking for a normal wii exploit, but found it worked with wii mini in coincidence. Am I in denial that it will never happen. No, am i saying it won't happen, also no. I'm just saying that no one can see the future and may happen. As 11.0.0 for switch made new features that may or may not be exploitable, are they a vulnerabilty, could be, couldn't be. However that is proof that there may be a slip by Nintendo in the future as hacker Xavbox experimented the features and found a way to get reinstall sx os if you have a modchip. No one is saying we can hack it, but I was saying people said the same thing with the ps3. With the xbox one it never happended but that's why I don't want people to say no in case anything happens

But at the same time, false hope is one of the worst things that can ever happen. No one should wait for word that something might happen within a period of time. Nothing is guaranteed including nothing itself. I'm not of the opinion that it will be hacked nor won't be hacked; if an exploit comes out it for, that's the end of it. Its just that based on current evidence, its more likely that nothing substantial will come within a reasonable amount of time.

Also before Nintendo had patched wii's, remember that, but there was an exploit

Just saying, that was hacked.
And so what? There are devices that have never been hacked. You do realize technically everything is hackable yes? Then that means there should be an exploit for everything but there isn't. Just because some supposedly "unhackable" devices have had exploits released does not automatically mean all supposedly "unhackable" devices will have exploits released. There is literally nothing to base this claim off of.

never ever heard of un hackable device, not yet exploited device allright, and some i've seen are hard to crack puzzles and low interested that i'd be surprised if there ever comes someone with a solution.
it will be hackable someday, just to what point?
See Sega Saturn for example
