If your console is patched, you would need either a firmware of 4.1 or an SX modchip in order to hack it. Without those, there are no other currently known exploits.

Nobody is publicly working on one and there may likely never be one or at the very least until the end of the Switch's life. If you want to hack a Switch, just get an unpatched unit.

There are no estimate time when a softmod exploit would be out for higher firmware, as stated already your option for patched unit is either hard mod and run atmosphere or get a unit that is on firmware 4.1.0, easiest would just get an unpatched unit.

Because you are not going to be getting a softmod anytime soon if your goal is to hack it. Even if you want to just play legit games, you can still do that on an unpatched unit. There are basically no advantages to a patched unit versus an unpatched unit. At least Mariko devices have extended battery life.

If he said there is no estimated time for the exploit, what point is there in asking a question if the answer was already given to you?
