With A9LH you can.

I am at part 3 (arm9loaderhax) and I haven't run Luma3DS yet. Should I run it before going to Section II?

Aaaand it's bricked. I tried to run Ninjhax and it won't turn on.
EDIT: Recovery mode works...
EDIT2: Took out the SD card and it booted.

What section and step are you and what made you say that you bricked?
I can take out the SD card to unbrick. I wasn't sure whether to run Luma3DS (and I'm still not sure) before going to the browser. Trying to load the A9LH installer makes a glitched screen and then turns off eventually.

You're now on a 2.1 FW and it is normal what is happening.
Just do the guide step by step and rest assure, in the end it, everything will be OK.

Yes, until it launches the safea9lhinstaller.

After it launches, press select.

It may take some tries and some time...

Great, it means you now have A9LH installed and you are almost finished with the guide.

Brick protection FTW...

^_^ I forgot to copy OTP.bin before loading Luma3DS config, but I just finished. I need to restore the NANDmin.bin now?

If the NANDmin is a working one, yes.

I'm saying this because you said something about your 8.1 not working properly.
If you have made the NANDmin from there, I don't recomend you to use it. Use the 9.2 CTR-Transfer.

If you updated to a clean 9.2 (like I told you before) then yes, go for it.

Oh no, I am restoring the NANDmin. Should I stop somehow?
EDIT: Oh right I am using A9LH. Yay :D

NO, let finish, NEVER interrupt a NAND restore.

If there's any problema with it, you can always do the other CTR-Transfer.

Yes, that is the main goal of this, :)
Ok I started the 3DS and went to the system settings (it said Sys before the version number) and clicked update. Did I need to somehow go into Luma3DS or is this how it is supposed to work?

Saw someone saying the same (error when updating to v11 with system settings) but don't remember where and what was the solution.

Maybe try again and if it errors again, just go with the rest of the guide (if you can boot normally) and try to update after you finish the guide.

It's also possible to update with sysupdater and finding the v11.0.0-33 for your region on "that ISO site".
