@natinusala negative, it's a 32gb SDHC

@pretend7979 I can always try my hand at compiling, though in this case I used Natinusala's pre-built image. I also re-downloaded it, though it's worth noting I used the copy on GDrive as I hit a 5 hour wait for the Mega copy.

By chance is there an MD5 laying around for the pre-built image? I'll try a different brand SD card tonight, though it'll be good to verify my copy didn't get corrupted. I was hoping to get the pre-built copy at least booting before I tried building, as a proof of concept if you will.

quick question, if my switch is at 100% when i reboot it into RCM, can i charge it back up to 100% before booting back into horizon to avoid battery calibration issues?

I'm not sure, but another user stated, that letting the battery running low in horizon until it shuts down and then booting into Linux and letting the battery running low there until it shuts down, will fix the desync issue.

welp. I've caught the battery bug. Last night it died at 60%! I hear that unplugging the battery forces it to recalibrate? Should I take my Switch apart?

There is another method which is doing a battery cycle on the Switch which can take at least 10 hours, maybe more. (It's called the Nintendo method)
yeah I usually have a charger handy when I play anyway...but I'll probably just do the battery pull.

I'm wondering how hard a hardmod would be to make a switch to disconnect the battery without taking the Switch apart? May not be worth it if a fix is found soon though.

The frequency patch was applied on Lakka, you can try it and tell me if it works.
looks like it.
My Switch boots Lakka with a 128 card fine but the touch point of the screen seems a bit off, the Ubuntu Image by cmsj doesn't boot and the PL image is still downloading.

Doing this mod tomorrow...

1) Break negative trace on board going from battery

2) Solder PTB microswitch (push to break) across negative traces you broken in step 1

3) Drill 1mm hole in switch casing above the PTB microswitch...

4) Perfect reset hole simulating a battery pull when switch is pressed and negative connection broken. "reset with paperclip" type jobby

Nice and easy. Will do a write up tomorrow if I remember with pics if I get time.

Pic below gives you an idea. Need smallish soldering skills. I find it easy been doing it 30 years but if you are new to soldering you may fook it.

Not many people would be willing to do this method because they aren't experienced with this type of modding. In my opinion, I rather wait patiently for a software fix.
(Cool method though, thanks)

Thanks for the write up. With my luck I’ll screw it up, but that’s very clever.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.
