I've thought about this before and considered making one but after thinking about it, I think the switchbru homebrew appstore fills the need. You don't really need a lot of stuff that package managers give you - dependency resolution. We really just need a place to search/install/update/remove apps. That being said, it would be nice if the homebrew app store had the ability to update all installed homebrew (I actually haven't checked - for all I know, it might) and point to additional data sources for homebrew that's hosted elsewhere.
