I think it sucks. The depth perception is off, the controls are touchy and annoying, and it makes you collect those medal things to progress, which is also annoying.

Skyrim (or basically any modern game bethesda made)
FF7 (good game, but considering its often voted the best game of all time, id say its overrated)
Resident Evil 4 (I never got this game, its too cheesy to work as a good horror game compared to SH2 or later RE games, and the combat isnt good enough to carry it as a shooter)
The Last of Us (see FF7, I think TLOU is a good game but not deserving of the best game ever made title its often given)

This is tough to admit as a fan of the series but final fantasy (nearly every single one) ... because any game where you spend more time in the menu screens than in the actual game is lame

Also how is Sonic unleashed overrated again? ... The only Sonic title that was worse was Sonic and the Black Knight

I see an overwhelming amount of people claim that Sonic Unleashed is the best or in the top 3 of Sonic games.

Have you even finished Skyrim? Final Fantasy VII is a good game but Ocarina of Time more overrated than FF7. How is that lame?

because the whole point of being in that menu is to be able to win the battle, the battle that takes maybe 3 minutes after you took maybe a half an hour of prep for it if you could see that ratio is truly enjoyable then I don't know what else to say

Probably because you have to spend less time playing and more time doing strategic boring menu logistics

No, I didnt finish it because I found it bad. Ive forced myself through other bethesda games and they never got better, not making the same mistake again with skyrim. I can go more into detail about why I think skyrim is bad if you want.

On FF7 vs OOT id disagree, i see both commonly called the best games of all time but I personally enjoyed OOT more. But I agree that both are good games, I just dont think either deserves the best game ever made label.

I think youre completely missing what I said on RE4. Its a survival horror shooter game. That genre, for me, is carried by 2 things: being scary, and fun shooting. RE4 isnt scary and the shooting isnt that good so I dont get the appeal of it. Im not saying its bad because it isnt like other RE games, im saying i dont get the appeal of it because it doesnt do the thing that horror games are literally created to do.

half an hour of prep? then you aren't playing Final Fantasy also you can say that about any rpg

Yet Ocarina of Time is boring. No RE4 has good shooting, better than the previous RE games and RE4 has some good scary moments COUGH Regenerators COUGH COUGH!!!

I didnt find OOT boring and I think Im in the majority there. Its totally ok to think its boring, I just dont agree. I didnt say RE4 doesnt have shooting, just that the shooting isnt very good. Ive never played RE1-3 so i cant compare it to that, but compared its combat other shooting games at the time it wasnt very good. SH2 gets away with mediocre shooting because I found the atmosphere and story engaging and scary, but i didnt find RE4 scary so the combat would have to carry the experience (be as good as something like halo or hl2) for me to enjoy the game if that makes sense.
