half an hour of prep? then you aren't playing Final Fantasy also you can say that about any rpg

I'm not sure if you're trolling there you have never spent hours on final fantasy 8 drawing off the same boring enemy or rejunctioning your materia In final fantasy 7 I mean that I'm not sure you really played the games and yes the same could be said about a lot of RPGs although as I said in my initial statement it is my favorite kind of game I'm just willing to admit how lame it is

I didnt find OOT boring and I think Im in the majority there. Its totally ok to think its boring, I just dont agree. I didnt say RE4 doesnt have shooting, just that the shooting isnt very good. Ive never played RE1-3 so i cant compare it to that, but compared its combat other shooting games at the time it wasnt very good. SH2 gets away with mediocre shooting because I found the atmosphere and story engaging and scary, but i didnt find RE4 scary so the combat would have to carry the experience (be as good as something like halo or hl2) for me to enjoy the game if that makes sense.

Ocarina of Time is too simple to be enjoyable. You said the shooting in RE4 wasn't that good and again its good for what it is also RE4 isn't a Call of Duty or Halo game so why should it have the same shooting mechanics as those games? Also you didn't play the old Resident Evil games so how can you say Resident Evil 4 is bad?

I dont agree. I dont think it has any enjoyable aspects so I dont like it. Normally the enjoyable aspects for survival horror shooters are the horror and the shooting, which is why I mention those. I dont find RE4 to be scary or have good shooting. IDK how to make this any more simple to understand.

Its not that lame and yes I have play Final Fantasy 1 - 13-2. You don't have to draw that much in Final Fantasy 8, ever heard of the Card Mod trick? It sounds like you're just complaining about the mechanica of those game rather than going into the menu and equiping something like thats part of the fun of a rpg.

no sir you are incorrect if I was complaining about the mechanics of the game I'd be talking about the Battle system in the fact that after all that equipping it equates pressing X 3 times and watching your character do a stupid slashing motion as I said I thoroughly enjoy RPGs I understand that there is some draw to going through menus but it is not where the game itself lies the game itself is what happens outside of the menus and if you spend more time in the menus than in the actual game then what I said is absolutely true and also what you said is not true now that I think about it there are plenty of RPGs that are mainstream and good and don't you spending more time in menu than game for instance Pokemon wherein you only open your menu to save the game or use an item in the newer generations to enter a training mode so you see spending hours in the menu isn't that every RPG problem please don't be foolish enough to think its a every RPG problem
