- Install: Visual C++ Compiler for Python 2.7, Python 2.7, pycrypto, devkitARM r45
- Place the correct files to the data_input folder
- Run Windows cmd with admin permission
- cd to arm9loaderhax root
- make
- data_output\arm9loaderhax.3dsx ---> SD:\3ds\
- Homebrew Launcher
- arm9loaderhax
- Enjoy

Absolutely. Seeing as this method is considerably risky as of now because it directly messes with sysnand quite a bit it's actually recommended to have one, in fact.

I tried CN method to dump otp.bin about 10 more times. but always failed so change the method to spider and it worked first try and got it. thank you. now I'm restoring sysnand and emunand.

Another marathon of support from @PsyJED. He was very patient with me and I took entirely too long to obtain my otp.bin from my Hyrule Edtition N3DS. The scene really has been rocking since the 32c3 conference and the adventures into 3DS exploitation by smea derrek and plutoo. Since that groundwork was laid we have been blessed by devs too numerous to list, with a downgrader (which I owe mad respect for I utilized it on my Hyrule Edition N3DS) and now the icing on the cake a9lh which only the talented devs of this forum who put up with the whining and flaming so graciously provide. I just hope all the people who have used these gifts despite the occasional brick which is a known risk that comes with the territory can be thankful and respect what they get for FREE. There contributions SHOULD and WILL be celebrated. Thank you 3DS devs and GBATemp members.

I've just grabbed the OTP on my 2ds. No hardmod. Funny thing is the 2.1 firm was thinking the 3D was active and the top screen was a mess.
