I think you need 9.x to install A9LH since the installer comes in a 3dsx format, but for getting the OTP, I doubt the initial sysNAND firmware matters much.

Nope, still errors when installing 0004003000008F02 (Home Menu?) I'm not sure what to do tbh
Unless the fact that my emuNAND is 10.3 has something to do with it?

I'm using rxTools, so I just held down L while rxTools was booting, went to "Install FBI" under Advanced Settings. It'll inject FBI into your Health and Safety app as long as you have the right fbi_inject.app/tmd on the root of your SD card (you can check the TMD when you click on Install FBI, and the files needed are in the "Tools" folder in the rxTools zip file)
Edit: I don't know how to do it using Rei or Cakes or whatever I'm afraid. SOrry

Generally health and safety injection, you probably have done it before if you've setup EmuNAND d before. Also you could open FBI 3dsx from browserhax on EmuNAND and install FBI CIA.

it should already be pretty safe as it is, especially since automated tools take most of the human element out of it, but the only other thing they could really do is make a CFW that you can boot that supports emuNAND 2.1 to check your work. Then you wouldn't be flashing to sysNAND blindly.

https://github.com/delebile/arm9loaderhax , but you have to compile it yourself (or give someone your OTP to compile it for you). You can't just take any random person's already compiled 3dsx of it unless it's specifically for your console.

well i now have four folders in my nintendo3ds folder instead of the two xxxxx files and private folder, i now have a new xxxx folder that suddenly appeared on my 2ds. did tiny format create a whole new emunand on my 2ds or something?

no it pretty much reformatted your emunand so u got a new xxxx folder

Theoretically someone could make a website with a couple banner ads that auto compiles and make a bit of money. (couple cents maybe)

When you copy the first 200 offset from the O3DS header and paste into your 2.1 emunand are you clicking paste write? Also are you flashing that modified emunand to your sysnand?

is the Final part of 0x200 need to be replace because its just 000000000's, I Just Replace 0000000 to 0000001F0 because thats the only thing to copy from the file to sysnand.bin

well i tried making the db files again and went into the system settings but that doesn't do anything at all unfortunately. not sure what's going on here
