In the process of getting my Switch setup, was running into issues since I have a Mac (w/ virtualbox running MS edge 10.0) and decided to splurge and get SX OS Pro to minimize headaches.

I backed up my NAND/BOOT, loaded my SD card w/ boot.dat and sxdumper.nro, created emuNAND as a hidden partition on my SD. I've been following the SX OS instructions and I'm at the point where I activate SX OS / run OS SX for the first time and I'm currently stuck. When I run CFW, I get the activation prompt. It makes license-request.dat and prompts if I want to continue to load OS SX for the 1st time and boom black screen.

I can reboot to RCM and use the dongle to get into the SX OS Boot screen or just boot to OFW. Data management in the OFW shows a good SD and it looks good. OFW made a Nintendo folder etc...

My SD card is now named "TXNAND" and has:
boot.dat
license-request.dat
Nintendo/
*Note, sxdumper is now gone

I'm using:
OFW - 8.0.1
SX OS - 2.5.3
SD exFAT 256GB (now the TXNAND partition shows 220GB, I assume the balance from the hidden partition)

Please lmk what you guys think I should do next, the instructions just gloss over this part.
Thanks in advance

Update -> working, believe I simply needed to use the 2.7.1 (beta) which explicitly supports 8.0.0 and 8.0.1):

1) Used SX OS 2.7.1 (beta) -> now when I boot CFW i load into the switch as if its in OFW. Settings state im running 8.0.1 (no additional info like SX OS 2.5.3 next to, just 8.0.1). That said when I hold down RB and open albums the HBMenu opens. Gave me an error saying that it could not see any files... This is an error I had prior and was related to auto archiving.

2) Loaded the Hekate payload and used the tools to turn off auto archive

3) Rebooted and I can now see the file structure but no apps loaded.
* Note SX is slightly different then Atmosphere and simply needed to hit RB (without hitting A) to get into the SX OS menu

Hope this helps someone
