So, I got the Sega GT 2002 xbox game and i want to play it on my xbox 360.I checked a compatibillity list of the games. and this game works.
it told me i need a hard drive/ So i went and bought a 20gb and the cable because i have a xbox slim.
But for some reason it still gives me the error:
To play original xbox game you have to attach a xbox 360 hard drive.

Any1 help?

the cable doesnt allow you to use the old 360 hard drive as storage drive
its just for copying data to the internal 360 slim hard drive from an old one

an actual MS XBOX360 hdd. you may be able to get away with a flash drive but they have to meet certain "specifications". plug a flash drive into your usb port, go to system settings/memory and configure the drive you just plugged in. should work

You need an HDD to put on top of the 360, not an external hard drive.

This:

or this (For the slim):

if you have an phat 360 hdd it will not work. again, try plugging any old thumb drive you have lying around into a usb port and configuring it. that should be a temporary fix until you can get the correct hdd

edit: a thumb drive would have to be at least 256MB to work i believe since like 100MB are used for "system files"
