This could be possible, but we'd have to replace existing rooms, which I don't think we can do with current tools. It would be hard as fuck work to do anyway.

Might be possible, but would require a huge modeling project.
Better just wait and hope S/M are gen 6 and have Battle Frontier somehow.

Don't bring that argument up here. I'll just say that all things that they have said and done with JUST Sun and Moon is indicating a new generation, however

Pretty sure he's a guy who would say that. There's too much room for doubt with how everything else is going.
The two avaliable slots for pentagons after OR/AS is a thing that, as far as I know, he and some other guys discovered. Lots of people write it off as not meaning anything when it comes to gens, but pretty sure he can explain otherwise.
I also guess that he doesn't believe the Zygarde moves are to be distribution moves, like actually scrapped, because we've had this exact case with 5th gen.

No. The only "official" site stating such are the Scandinavian ones, but they are run by Bergsala which is only a redistributor.
So unofficial that we didn't get any Club Nintendo, though we got the cards because they're redistributors, but no own site so we had to use the UK one. That had no shipment outside UK, so only digital rewards.

even if its not gen 6 it could use the same engine like gen 1 and 2 also i think gen 4 and 5 have a simlar engine

This is true. They could use the same engine, formats and such. The question just becomes "Why?", but don't answer that here.
The thing is, if it's a new gen then we have the risk of a difference. If it's still 6th gen, there is no risk of such change.

since the games also for the old 3ds i don't think they gonna be able to make pokemon look any better from x and y and oras on it plus they already have a 3d engine so why make another

Yeah, exactly. The question it poses is "Why have a new generation, especially if it's just for Zygarde, when it's possible for it to still be the same generation?".

Please. It would be gen 6 only if they could battle with XY/ORAS, just like how no games can battle other games outside of their generation.

Now, all this is just because I'm hoping for a Battle Frontier in S/M. If we do, we could possibly import the model and remap the whole Battle Resort.
Once we get to edit the code of the game, so we could probably point the extra doors in the BF to useless rooms that are for example in Mauville City, which we can remodel as well, hopefully sometime. This is all speculation at this point, though.

I own a physical copy of AS, but I also ripped it using Uncart and have it installed on my 3ds via CIA. After I patch the rom, will it install under the same title id as AS, or will it be different? I'm guessing it's going to be the same since it's a patch I just wanted to have both copies installed.

I had the same question and people mentioned a way to change the Title id, but they couldn't confirm if it'd work
