Oh my god how did I miss this thread?
It's been years ... no decades ... until I played this. I even forgot about it, what a shame.
Thx for the port!

Love this game - thank you for this. Just a minor issue and its probably me. I can save the game progress fine, but any time I try to load a saved game I get the 2162-0002 error.

I am on firmware 4.1 using version 6.1 of tumGERs sdcard files.

Formatted SD card as FAT32 and put the files on from scratch - same thing.

Anyway I will keep an eye on any progress and thanks again :)

another -edit - reformatted the card and all seems to be working now :) great work thanks

Yeah the theme song works :)
I'll add touch in soon, just gotta find the best system that works.
Still hoping for touch, if you're still up for working on this. I guess touch for mouse pointer position, and L & LZ for mouse buttons. If you're feeling fancy, you could give the option to choose between direct touch (the mouse pointer jumping directly to the touch location), or relative touch (touch movement causes the pointer to move in the same direction).

Will work on it shortly, should be up in a few days. :)
Will have several different touch options.

Just a quick note - any time I finish playing and quit using the exit option I get 2162-0002 error meaning my switch restarts.....same happens on both 4.10 and 5.10 firmware.

Otherwise fantastic :)

Thanks for your work porting OpenFodder to the Switch!

Just FYI; I've pushed a fix to the original repository (commit: 7294c3461052827f9810f57b7fb2df1567e3b8b7) to resolve the issue with the top-left of the map.

Feel free to raise any issues you come across in the future, or if you feel like working your changes into a PR for the official repository, we're happy merge!

Recent commits to the original source have apparently added support for Cannon Fodder 2. Any plans to update the Switch port to support this?

@keeganator
Hi, no new Switch OFW 11.0.1 game version with new libnx support?..
Haven't tested it yet but here's a new .nro built from OP's github, I just added some libraries to the Makefile so it would build with updated libnx.
