Homebrew oot3dhax usable as primary with different system?

If I install the oot3dhax save file to a oot3d game card by using sploit_installer from my o3ds/a9lh system, will that game card/save file be usable to load the homebrew launcher on a n3ds that I plan on buying? Sploit_installer asks which firmware/system type you have when installing which is the reason for my confusion.

Yes, just make sure you install it for the system version and 3DS type that you wish to use it on (i.e. If your N3DS you're getting will be on 11.0, then in the installer select N3DS 11.0.0-33).
