Hi all,
Purchased a R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe for my son this week.
He had one for his old DS which never caused us any problems and was very stable, hence me going with the R4.
Playing around with it for a few hours, found that it could only play one rom at a time.

Gutted, had a quick look on site and back in November 13 it seems they only can play 1 game at a time on the R4, even though some of the guides I've read say you can mount more.
Am I missing something !
Any help would be very much appreciated folks.
Cheers
Wayne

I have installed the 4.0b2 on initial set up, so I thought this would be the latest update.
Am I missing something..
Thanks again.

Are you "burning" the 3DS game to the microsd card? To use multi-mode, just drag and drop the games onto the microsd card instead of "burning" method.

don't forget to tell fim to format the card first to fat32 or exfat (depending on the card/games, 32gb+ cards can use exfat and work with the larger sized games, fat32 works better on the smaller microsd cards)

Yeah, what killernacho said. Format your SD card to Fat32 or exFat (I think R4 supports that too) and just drag and drop your ROMs.

Ha, timing.

And you sir are a legend.
That is exactly what I was doing. Works a treat.
Now to attempt putting some DS games on and we are away.

thanks again.

No problem. If you want to play another game, you must press "Select" then "B" to unmount the first game. If you try playing another game without unmounting, the 3DS will just freeze up I think.
