I've spent more time deving, made a bit more money since I stopped, my house has been cleaner, among many other things.

Basically being a more productive and successful person instead of wasting away all those hours like I used to do.

The guy does have a point. Video games are kinda getting people addicted. But then, this IS a forum that discusses every type of gaming possible...

the problem of having access to multiple games is that once you get to a frustrating or intimidating section, you have less reasons to continue and beat that part because you can just change the game. And the more games you have, the worse it is.

On the other hand we have Pokémon. In that game, I've never actually liked spending time to level up. That's why I regularly get stuck at the Elite Four's gate. Since I do not own a GBA with Link Port (only a DS, whose GBA function does not have one) and I do not have any friend that has a DS with Pokémon, I can't borrow a Pokémon to beat the 1337 4+1 at least once.

Also I believe FCPS is a bad name, as this happens to all kinds of pirates, and some legitimate players as well. I'd prefer "Too Many Games Syndrome" (TMGS)

More and more I'm starting to see video games as a huge waste of time...

um.... videogames dvd's and anime keeps me sane.... so yea waste of time or kill myself.... hum..... neither
