I actually enjoyed Animal Crossing more on my PC than on my Wii. I mean yeah it looked a lot nicer all high res and that but I just found the mouse easier to work with.

Good, now either turn off the anti-aliasing or switch to a different video backend.
That should fix the weird shadows.

To use a real Wiimote, your PC needs to have a Bluetooth adapter. If you have one, Dolphin makes it painfully simple to pair it.

Also, make sure you're not using a build from the scam site http://www.dolphin-emulator.com/; the real site is http://www.dolphin-emu.org/.

how is the first a scam site? do explain.
