Hardware old3DSXL Disassembly

Are all the screws in the old3DSXL the same (i.e PCB screws, case screws, circle pad screws, mic screws, etc) for when I do a hardware Mod: or do I have to store them separately?

QUESTION: how do you delete a thread or post on the forum? I don't see an option on my profile or on the bottom of the thread.

There are only three main types, but it's probably still a good idea to store each separately. There are six silver case screws and one small black case screw in the center of the opening for the cartridge slot. The interior screws in the bottom half are all the same except for the two long silver screws for the analog stick.

Even if you mix them up though iFixit has them all listed so you could easily sort them out again.

Do you honestly think admins would give users that power?

Imagine something like the Nintendon't thread disappearing over the whim of a disgruntled OP. Use common sense.

But to answer your question, you have to ask a mod for a lock, maybe a deletion too although that's not likely to be granted.

I felt proud of myself when you said that. I managed to persuade a mod to do that for me, once. Don't ask why xD
