Hacking Question Old Switch emuMMC to new Switch emuMMC

Hello everyone, I have three questions about moving an emuMMC from one switch to another.

1. Will it still work on the new switch or do I have to make a new emuMMC?
2. If so, do I need to update the new switch's OFW firmware?

Hi,
I am not the absolute expert for emuMMCs, but from what I know this will not work. The sysNAND is definitely console specific (PROD partition for example). So I would bet that the emuNAND is as well since it is generated out of the sysNAND. I am afraid you will have to recreate it on the new switch.
You don't need to upgrade the sysNAND first if you don't want to. Just create the emuNAND right away and then upgrade only the emuNAND via ChoiDuJourNX.
