Hello there.I though I can sell my old 2ds which i bought for like 200$ when it came out with games installed+a 16gb sd card(FREESHOP ACTIVATED) in order to get a new2ds XL

Does that sound like a good idea?

No
When you want the hacks on your new2ds xl you must transfer all this and maybe then you can sell it

i was reading that the new 2ds breaks the screen when you have it on your pocket, for me my n3ds is good but you have to be carefull with that point

Isn't that what the clamshell design is supposed to protect against?
Unless there's some serious flaw in the design that causes it to be more vulnerable to damage, a la the DS Lite and its famously cracked hinge, that shouldn't be possible.
Unless they are putting it in tight pockets and the pressure is causing the screen to crack, but even that shouldn't cause damage since it's basically one solid brick when the lid is closed, still I wouldn't recommend putting electronics in tight pants pockets in general, that's how people were bending their iPhones after all.

Uhmm i don't know but there were some reports on fb of Nintendo. I don't know if that is true, B.C. I don't have the new 2ds anyway, if some one will buy it then they have to be becarfull.

both my friends have 2ds's and I've never heard something like the screen breaking, and they go to a lot of places all the time. And..."becarfull"? lol

If you don't care about 3D then the n2DS. But if you've never tried 3D on a n3DS you may want to find a way to try out or borrow a n3DS to test on. It works way better than on the o3DS, thanks to what they call "super stable 3D", essentially it tracks your face so 3D works no matter how you hold the console.

I believe it would change the opinions of a lot of people in regards to 3D on 3DS if they tried it out. I can see why people didn't like it on o3DS, it was a huge annoyance and I could never really play in a relaxed position, but I still persisted because of the additional immersion it created.

With the n3DS I see no reason for anyone to play with 3D off, unless they're one of those people who get headaches/nausea from 3D (even that might not happen with the n3DS since you don't need glasses) or the game they're playing runs poorly with 3D on.
