So I'm at a dead-end. I have looked everywhere, but I can't get it to work. It doesn't help that I'm through all my DVD-R's either... :/

So, I get this black screen with the "now loading" frozen on it. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to get it beyond that point...

What's your cIOS setup, which loader are you using and are you sure that the image is genuine and not corrupt?

Okami works perfectly fine over USB.

To start off... Well, I have no idea if the Iso is genuine, but it seems that many others have that problem and some say that they got it fixed. But I dont understand how.

Where can I get my cIOS setup? I know what it is, but not where I can find it.

PS: The image is PAL. Because NTSC is reported to randomly crash. :V

A printscreen of a syscheck would be nice, just to see if your cIOS'es need updating. If you don't know if the ISO is genuine, can you at least tell us if there was an .NFO bundled with it? Can you CRC-Check it online?

There you have it. I suppose a lot of it is wrong. I pretty much only use the Wii to play N64 Wads and NGC Isos which aren't available in stores.
