think i may just start over again

ok so redid the wii just with modmii and now the games i was having issues with just went to a black screen and wii was stuck here, so have looked it up and tried the force NTSC and now does the same thing boots back to the wii system menu.
Using modmii i do see that the dx2 version it uses is 8 should i update this the the v10 base 52 or base 53?

ever thought of re-ripping your games?
or at least check the SHA-1 with Wii Backup manger?

JoostinOnline : would it be possible to add revision checks for common apps to syscheck? Could be useful info.

Not really. I could check the meta.xml file, but that could easily be wrong. Besides, it's meant to check the SYSTEM, not SD card.
do i need a different dx2 older version maybe
That's the next thing I was going to suggest. After that, do a new SysCheck and test games.

You say games work on your brother's Wii. Does that mean games from the same HDD? I'd also like to see a SysCheck from his Wii.

Fair enough.
I just wanted to make it easier to help noobs with problems and most of them "can't" tell what revisions of the apps they are using ( no, I don't mean the OP is a noob).
You can check the revision of most common apps (now including nintendont) by scanning the dol files themselves. Yes it probably is hard to decide which apps to add and will take quite an amount of resources . Just a suggestion and as always, it is up to you.

Why do you have d2x v10 beta 53 in three different slots? That might be your problem. It could be causing a conflict. Hermes is completely seperate and shouldnt affect anything at all.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

  • Veho @ Veho:
This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
