Something I found a bit cumbersome was having to click on the dev mode app everytime I want to swtch to it, which requires an internet connection otherwise it will not load.
Then by chance I realised that once in Dev Mode if you do not click on 'Leave Dev Mode' it will reboot back to it from retail mode without having to connect online.
E.g. In offline Dev Mode you turn console off and take the plug out of the socket. When you turn console back on (offline) it will boot to retail mode but if you then keep hold of the guide button and click restart it will boot into Dev Mode rather than retail.
This made my day as I don't like having the hotspot/ wifi on 24/7 and it makes the Series S even more of a portable beast.
