Hacking Offilne upgrade to 4.0?

can we update offline to 4.0 while keeping all the good stuff we actually enjoy on our wiis

im kinda seduced by the new menu and functionalities but my internet conncetion is very unstable lately so ... Offline would work for me

If theres gonna be a game with 4.0 on it then yes

and if you do update, you will lose some homebrew functions

I dont think u got my point, I didnt mean the official upgrade. Im refering to those similar to Waninkoko's upgrader (but offline).
