Thanks to jaxxster for the tip!

This sounds good. I'd like to see how partial the support for NTSC regions is on the PAL console. Being able to make multi discs for the wii also sounds like a great feature. Hopefully soon you'll be able to play copied VC games.

Thus why it's silly to jump on the "first gen" modchip scene. I, personally, plan on waiting a year or two to mod my Wii in order to support the system. But when I do mod it, I'll be quite glad to have waited for all the awesomeness that's going to be coming out in future modchips.

Very nice - the partial support for region-free (NTSC support on PAL) is very promising; let's hope it'll work both ways in the future as well

Futureproof... I like those odds! Hahaha

Completely backwards compatible with presentproof and pastproof...

Sweeet.... I'll wait for teh firmware flash based on the Wiikey though, save meh cash.

Totally awesome with all those features though, if I had more monies I would buy.

I was so going to post this about an hour ago, but there was a post already in the Wii Hacking forum and Costello locked it right as I was about to reply to it!

Anyway, I first found this info on MC of all places. They were even still trying to advertise Cyclowiz in the very same post.

The no bitsetting thing irks me a bit as I just re-burned all of my backups to DVD-R instead of DVD+R... Oh well.

knowing it's just a 6 wire solution also makes me very happy!

And yeah, that SD thing looks like a disk dumper. I wonder how they get that to work.

It seems that this is a drive hack, but I still want someone to confirm that it is indeed just a drive hack, and not a mobo hack.

STFU GUSY THE CYCLOWIZ WILL RUEL THE MRKETA AND YOU KONW THAT. I DONT KNOW WHY YOU BE HATIN ON MY CYCLO, REPRESENT.

PS DIVINEO DIVINEO DINOEVE

I hope "partial" support for games of other regions becomes "full" support with later updates (If its possible to add that kind of support with software updates). Though it does look like I could use this to play Japanese Wii games on my NTSC Wii (YAY YAY YAY), I want Japanese GC games to be fully compatible...without swapping.
And there's always the occasional PAL release that gets to the US a lot later, so making NTSC Wiis fully compatible with PAL backups and games and vis versa would be teh pwn.
But I'm not buying one anytime soon anyway, so, I'll just wait it out a bit.

Sorry about the double post that someone had to delete. My connection lagged out or something.

Deathspawn99, you need to "stfu". Clearly this is so far the best. I'm not going to get into an argument...you need

Hopefully I can hold out for some few month tests on these wii modchips to see how long term proof they are
