People want to pirate and play online, and are trying to find any way to game the system.

Read what he wrote. He's asking if someone used a BANNED cert on an UNBANNED system. No one would do this.

Ok. I hope that somebody implements the patches into hekate since it has more features and would allow us to install dlc.
Hekate is a bootloader and wouldn't actually do anything. You need an FS.kip that with signature patches and LayeredFS patches.

There is a problem here and it's your avatar. Not easy on the eyes that guy.
Good thing I'm not here looking for dates then.

As an aside, has anyone found quality jigs? I have a cheap etsy one, and of course the quality leaves a little to be desired.

how about .nsp updates and dlc>? how to install? just overwrite?
It's not currently possible to install DLC. We need to be able to use DevMenu on ReiNX to do that, and we don't have a public way of doing that yet.

If you want to install game updates, use LayeredFS on Hekate and then load DevMenu.

Disclaimer: DLC and updates do not currently work with Tinfoil. If you want to install updates, you can use the old LayeredFS/Hekate method to launch DevMenu. For DLC, you're going to have to wait for a way to run DevMenu on ReiNX.
Updates are in fact not supported by tinfoil. I 'acquired' an "Enter The Gungeon" NSP, connected my switch to Wi-Fi (took it off of Airplane Mode) and it auto updated from the eShop. Looks like the patch was applied.

As I said, updates are not compatible with Tinfoil. You need to go back to Hekate/LayeredFS to launch DevMenu if you want to install updates.

What i'm saying is i connected my switch to the internet and the switch recognized that the application needed to be updated so it did that.

Connecting to the internet on your Switch after installing titles with Tinfoil is not a good idea if you don't want to get banned.

DevMenu can install to either the SD card or the system menu.

What if I update the game manually from Horizon? Im putting myself at a big risk of ban for that? (I know i'm accepting to get banned even for using homebrew)

You will probably get banned if you do that.

Don't care ab getting banned, have two switches. Testing things out on my first one. If you need an update for a game to work, this might be the only way of going about updating it afaik.
