No, it's a certificate ban. You have the same certificate before & after.

Oh no, I didn't mean in "unbanning" by restoring (my console is still currently untouched by homebrew in a semi-permanent airplane mode state), I meant can I use ReiNX w/ installed NSP (while still staying offline), then rollback/restore to the "clean" state and use it online as normal without the risk of an online ban (meaning, ReiNX/NSP use doesn't leave any logs and such once restored pre-homebrew/NSP installation)

That's what I'm doing but I haven't tested restoring nand yet. I think it's the best method at the moment but there's always a chance.

This is specifically why I'm doing a NAND backup right now. I don't want to lose permanent access to Splatoon 2 online games but I still want to try this out, so I will stay offline as long as I can before eventually restoring the day I'll want to play online again.

I'd avoid updating at all costs, and only use tinfoil. Using the devmenu is a huge red flag.

Always make a nand backup as well. This is to all 157 guests currently viewing :P.

No. And it would <4.1 only and none of these methods would work for it because this all requires boot-operation sigpatching.

Welcome to 'that moment where the Switch scene fragmented'.

dejavu works on 4.1.0, you only have a problem if they ship > 4.1.0 or if you update.

Someone said rinx dont burn fuses? Do I need to do more things like changing/copy-paste the kip files or just copy paste the rei sd files is fine?
