What about game updates?

No clue. They can revoke access to pretty much anything of their choosing. So I can't really give you any form of guarantee that anything will work.

Sysupdates make sense for them to provide because they close software holes or make hacking break for a bit and create inconveniences.

maybe i´m saying something stupid but how about an intermediate "unofficial" CDN?
how hard would it be to get something like that up and running?

Sorry if this has already been asked, or sound stupid.

But does the just released sigpatches only work for nsp files? Or can they be used to launch .xci if we had a backup loader, like could you apply this to the sx os backup loader for example?

Only NSPs, and IIRC not all NSPs, only NSP Games. NSP updates and NSP DLCs are not yet supported.

They can make a XCI backup loader work. Yet, besides TX, nobody ever made one to this day.

They're now doing full CDN cert bans so I don't recommend touching their CDN. Its now just asking for a full ban.
Please forgive my ignorance but what is full CDN ban?

Does this mean i can’t use my switch completely even for my real game carts?

So, we're still waiting for an official release?
At the moment the best thing to do is adding the patches to hekate's cfw, right?

best thing to do is download nsp games through local mega / 1fichier / google drive etc and install offline and play offline.
100% guaranteed no ban

this is lowkey an excellent joke and i don't know why it doesn't have more likes
Is there any info about features of ReiNX? We know about sigpatches, hbmenu but what besides it?
It's intended to be an all-in-one solution.
More stuff will be added as time progresses. ReiNX is designed to be upgradable however is needed.
Even if you aren't interested yet due to other solutions, in the long run, ReiNX will have everything you need.

Fix me if i wrong. Now we can use devmenu with layeredfs to install game and update. Then go to reinx sigpatch to play that title.
