I just finished it. I only got stuck twice, but my god that's an awesome game.

The end though got waay too confusing for me, so I just accepted it without asking questions. I also love how Cabanela does the Michael Jackson move when he's about to talk to someone.

But with this game, is it just me or has the last few months (including this one) been ridiculously strong for the DS's library?!

yeah i have the same feeling, it's just like a happy good-bye for the ds

and a nice welcome to the 3ds

Finished the game two days ago. =3 I only got stuck once

At the part where you have to escape from prison. I thought I was suppose to have him run from the stairs to the exit. I didn't know that he could have moved in the tunnel space....

The ending was pretty good. Should have spotted the connection on why there was a cat in a bag in the first place. I mean, why would Yomiel be carrying a cat in the first place.

And that's one huge time paradox they just created!

This game is awesome: Great and Deep story, great and easy gameplay, great graphics, cool music... Very, very, very good game... One of my nominated for "games you should play" 2011.

The problem with this game though is because it's based on time. And time is a ridiculously hard thing to make a story based on it.

But it was still a great game none the less.

i think they actually managed it quite well and explained what was happening constantly so we would understand clearly. It worked well

I mean it's a hit or miss. Not everybody is going to understand it. I personally didn't, but I love the concept behind it. The only part I didn't understand was with:
the elder Missile.

But everything up until then, I understood perfectly.

goooood... as professor layton?
if it comes anywhere close as good i'm all for it

Definitely as good, maybe just a little bit better, depending on what you thought of the Layton games.

This game definitely lived up to its hype, and even surpassed my expectations about the graphics and the amazing animation.
I mean, imagine a Phoenix Write game with this engine, or any other point and click detective type of adventure game with that style of animation and backgrounds...
It's almost like a visual novel, but better then 999 or Layton because there is more interaction, like time is flowing and the player must actively move around and manipulate objects, rather read / start a mini game / do some more reading / yet another minigame.
Also the full sized character on the screen do transmit much more expression then the static images of PW.
I think Capcom did a great job on this one, too bad it came so late in the life span of the DS.
I surely hope there would me more to come, but hey, if I have to take it on the 3DS...that'll be fine too !

I finished this game about a week ago.Its got pretty solid gameplay. It makes you think but its easy enough.I never got stuck or had to refer to the walkthroughs.
Ghost Trick according to me was the most fantastic experience ever on the DS.I am a big fan of Layton and the Ace Attorney series but this game just beats everything. This game is so great it kicked Hotel Dusk to number 2 place in my most favourite ds games.

Exactly. I didn't understand that part either. (I still don't)
Maybe it's just another paradoxon, caused by changing the flow of time or something.

What's so hard to understand?

There's 3 timelines. In the first one everything goes out normally, in other words, according to the other country plan's: Everyone related to Temsik gets killed and Missile is killed too but since he got killed near a Temsik fragment he gets ghost powers. He uses those powers to investigate everything and tries to stop them but he's not powerful enough to do so. During that time he meets Sessil and asks for his help but Sissel refuses because the only thing he cares about is himself. He travels back in time to 4 minutes before Yomiel's death and stays there for 10 learns learning about everything that happened. When we get to the 2nd timeline (the one we play in) he uses everything he learnt to try and lead Sissel in stopping the events of that night since he himself couldn't do that. And after Sissel stops all that we get a new timeline where nothing related to Temsik happens.

So yeah, Elder Missile = Missile from the first timeline who put Sissel in the right path.

the elder missile went back to 4 minutes before yomiel's death and then stayed behind after the death instead of trying again (after several tries) and waited for 10 years to try and influence the cat, sissel.
