Party over here!

I cannot wait for this game to come out. Whos with me?
Anyone have any reviews from the japanese version that came out?
Lets talk about our feelings!

Dungeon Explorer?
By the looks of it, I'd say it's average...
Advance Wars is a better download for me, I'D say.
But then again, that's MY opinion....

I'm looking forward to it. I'm just not "start a thread 3 weeks before the release date" looking forward to it.

I'm always up for a good hack & slash dungeon crawler, and this one looks top notch.

I hate the limited memory of the DS.

The psp version will have more classes, unique/rare gear found in multiplayer and alot of player customizability.

We get a wider range of different enemies, and a robot side kick.

If every player I play with has the same gear I am gonna be disappointed.

PSP-70 class/race possibilities
DS-9 Class/race abilities

DS has 60 side quests
PSP 150 ide quests.

PSP has six uge boss battles that we won't get.

"The DS game, for instance, has a robot sidekick you can customize. The PSP version has more robust character customization. Other differences include very different storylines, implementations of how the Arts system works, and viewpoints in battle. In addition, multiplayer is implemented in very different fashions. On the PSP, you can find rare, exclusive gear while exploring dungeons. In summary, if you wanted to buy both games, you can get a unique experience from each one. "

I am gonna buy a psp ( not just for this, but for certain games/emulation reasons)

yeah that sucks but i mean, i don't think i can wait 2 hours of load time to play it.

but a nice item randomizer would be nice.

Where'd you go stussy? This pre-release party is pretty weak. Someone needs to spike the punch.

Hope this one is still hitting stores tomorrow!

Yeah, well, don't hope for too much. I think it will be a game that's somewhat entertaining when you just need something to pass the time, but, so far, it's not receiving the greatest reviews. 1Up 5.5ed it. Nintendo Power, I think, 6.5ed it. But -- hey -- I think it'll will satisfy Diablo fans, like myself.

Did we really need another thread for this subpar game?
A quick look at the topic would tell you that this was the original, not another, and that I was actually poking fun at the OP for abandoning his own pre-release party. Lighten up Urza. If you don't want to read about this game, then by all means, don't.

I'm looking forward to it. I would really like an hack'n'slash game on the NDS... Rune Factory was something near to it, but dunno, didn't really like it for some reason.

Maybe this will be good

If this catches my attention, I'll also play the PSP version, although I've heard that the DS version is superior, in some aspects.

If anyone wants a good action rpg on the ds to carry them on I found Eragon to be surprisingly good, too bad it's based on a movie, otherwise the developer could polish that game and release a sequel.

This game won't be similar to Eragon, i.e. it's more of a dungeon crawler, but I happen to agree with you Truliche. I really enjoyed Eragon. It was far too brief, but the fighting and combos were pretty good, and the use of the touch screen for the magic casting was great. I still think drawing the symbols to cast magic was one of the better uses for the touch screen on the DS.

Be forewarned though, I might be the only person that agrees with you on this. Eragon was written off pretty quickly because it was A) based on a movie, and B) better on consoles than the DS.
