Thanks for the release and explanation, Link00y! I haven't used any cheating device or program since the Gameshark for the Nintendo 64. I plan on getting a USB Gecko, however, there is no practical way for me to constantly have the Wii next to my computer, so this is very useful. Hopefully I can get one soon, and contribute some codes.

Yeah, it might be my copy of Brawl, but it freezes up, too many codes?

I put:

All Alloy character mods
All characters x4
Overlapping Stage editor
Unlimited Stage Editor

It's like 10 codes.

Sweet. I'll be looking forward to a Debug Mode in Brawl.

there is not likely to be a debug menu in brawl, we've looked through the game with trucha and there is no sign of a debug menu. the only thing is that there were a few half-completed characters that nintendo were working on that probally will never become playable.

If you want a different code, do you have to manually connect it back to the computer to select them?

Yeah, Nintendo says never to share our friend Code with unknown people, but if they we don't have the other person's friend code, it won't work, Nintendo Wi-Fi sucks. I only play sometimes... Recently I havn't played much, only Pokemon.

What characters did you see?

1. What do you mean by alloy?
2. Stage editor codes are critical to activate only use them if you want to use the stage editor... otherwise: ignore them!

Yes, there is a code limit though it should be pretty high - 2384 bytes of code data are allowed.. minus 16 bytes of header: 2368 - that's 296 lines of code!

All I'd like for the application:
A GeckoOS-like GUI (With Wiimote and GC controller support)
Ability to toggle on/off from the application

Anyways, for the codes, I'd like a way to raise the maximum time for replays in SSBB. Three minutes max? Come on.

EDIT: Alloy characters are the multi-man brawl guys. Like the wire-frames in SSBM and the polygons in SSB64.

we also need to fix the bug where the sd card is not detected in brawl if you load it with codes.

please request codes at http://www.usbgecko.com/forums/

for Gecko OS like interface.. some stuff is planned.. ghowever.. for On/Off.. you have heard about the disc channel didn't you?

That bug was known before release (thus my release information)... it was already being looked at but we didn't find a fix (simply unmounting didn't do it).. however, for Brawl: store to Wii memory, reboot and copy to SD.. I know that's a long path but we accepted that.. first of all: we needed to check how well things work out!

I mean, as in have the file with all the cheats in it like the (game).txt and in the app you can choose which ones so you don't have to go to the computer to make another .gct file all the time.

I wonder if Action Replay Wii is going to be magically announced within 3 days time in a similar fashion to Freeloader? All jokes aside, probably not quite yet but you have to admit that those announcements follow the bigger findings very often. Tool Battery being another fun example!

Yeah, GeckoOS is the new Datel, a Region Free and Codes! And free! Wow this is great!

So the stage editor codes work right?

the text files are just for loading into the PC application right?
So wouldn't it be better to use normal names for them instead of the game id?

For online cheating: in theory it works.. just all tested games go out of sync.. so it works only if other players also use the same codes!
Onlinecheating ist absolute Scheisse und hat bisher jedem Spiel geschadet. Ich denke da nur mal an PSO auf Dreamcast.
Ihr solltet das auf alle Fälle blocken auch wenn es out of sync geht!
