Hello, new member here. I just tried to install this modpack. I got my new 3ds today and i want so much to play zelda in the best possible version. I also got an error when open the game, i see the little triforce like its trying to load but then it crashes. I enabled patchin in luma and installed rehid, i don't know what could be the problem, maybe its a missing update from the game or something like that?

Here is a photo of the error i get. If i can give you anymore info to help fixing it, ill be happy to provide. Also, im in the last patch of luma and of the console, downloaded the game today from the hshop.

ursopolardestro, it might be an issue with the hshop version. I recommend using a clean rip or retail card

adding screenshots for the most changes adds a lot of clutter, if you need information how these look, you can go to the Gamebanana OoT 3D page or use Google with using the catchwords

on high demand I can post some screenshots though. I added links to the single mods now

Yeah, may be that indeed. I managed to download only the cpad mod that was the gamechanger on this to me and it worked in my version, i think ill keep this way. but thank you anyway

actually the issue may come from me putting in multiple files in the rehid folder. I gonna put them in another folder

edit: updated the link

I hope it works now...

Hello,

Phantron thank you and those who assisted you in putting in the work to make this game better for people using original hardware.

I am only concerned with adding a lighting mod for the final Ganon fight. I have never modded a 3ds game before so I would like to know if I have done things correctly. It is hard for me to verify since I cannot get to the final boss fight so easily.

The attached file shows what I have done. I am concerned - I did exactly what the uploader said to on gamebanana. I extracted the entire folder inside of the “TITLEID” folder. I thought that I should have instead individually placed every romfs folder inside instead.

Have I made a mistake? THANK YOU to anyone who answers and also yes I am aware I must enable game patching in luma.

Hello, png textures dont work on 3DS, sorry
every single texture mod and patch had to be ported

If you want the 2nd of the two darker Ganon fights mods in the game, you need to port it yourself

here is a tutorial for Zelda 3DS Modding:
Gamebanana Link (lower tab for 3DS modding instead of only for Citra)

@Phantron

Thanks for the quick reply.

It looks like this mod has already been ported to the 3ds. I cannot link the mod on gamebanana because my account is too new (I think you already have near the top of this very post) but user "lidel" in the comment section uploaded a file to put into luma.

Did they do this incorrectly, or am I missing something here? thank you

Oh I gonna take a look on the page, and I thought that "OG Ganon" file is a png texture

so, check how my mod compilation is setup, and move in the variants you want of the mods form the pack you got from the user in the comments to the appropiate folder (romfs) in the luma > titleid folder on the root of your microSD card

do I add in the entire 3dspatch folder (like I did in my image) or do I only add the "romfs" folders? the image I posted is exactly what the dude said to do but I do not know if it is wrong

Yep, what he says is not correct...

You have to decide between 3 tail variants for Ganon, and put the romfs folder in luma\titles\0004000000033600 folder (titleid is for USA version), I recommend just using base
put the Skybox romfs folder in there the exact same way

Thank you very much. I think that I did it right. I put the romfs folder for base tail into my titleid folder. I also put the romfs folder for skybox into my titleid folder.

My folder now looks like this:

Works wonderfully for me. Especially the CPAD patch.
Have you uploaded this to gamebanana with screenshots? GameBanana is the best site for mods
This modpack is a compilation of other creators mods. They would have to ask the permission of all of them (except if stated explicitly not too, in their licensing).

Have you enabled patching in Luma? Have you installed Rehid?

edit: no answer, I hope you got it solved. otherwise I cannot help much more
Hello, I also have issues with my 3ds crashing using this modpack. I Dragged and dropped the contents to the root of my sd card, enabled patching in luma, and installed rehid. I am not sure what went wrong

edit: after looking through some other comments it seems it might be an issue with the hshop version? I just downloaded the modpack recently so unless any updates have been made since 8/18 I have the most up to date version.
