Gaming Oblivion Problems D=

My specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium
i7 2630QM 8 Cores (4 Physical) @2.00GHZ
8GB DDR3 Ram
750GB HDD 5200rpm
1GB DDR5 HD6770M ATI Radeon
uhh other stuff xD
Running it through Steam

My problem is I experience bad framerates average of 35 fps, checked it with fraps.
And my PC is so far above the min specs its crazy that I have crap fps.

Running the game on Medium, ill test it on low now, but then the graphics are horrible compared
to what they can be D=

Edit: Tested on very low and it stays at 60fps, but everything goes white D=

You might just be hogging your resources using other apps.Close some processes.

Nope and if you looked, its pretty much impossible to overload this PC.

Edit: around 1-2 percent of the CPU is being used while on desktop
and 30 percent of physical memory is taken, ill test with the game running in a sec.
Edit: 20 percent during game (windowed mode though) and 34 physical memory taken.

DP: Fixed I was silly and forgot to switch to High Performance Battery Plan (on a laptop).
