Hardware O3ds R button broke

So today after playing mario kart the R button of my o3ds stopped with responding this is reallly anoying tho. The weird part about this is that if I press the button I can still feel the click but it just wont respond.
Anyone knows a way how I can fix this ?????

They stop working quite easily.
I've had my R button damaged for a long time, even after opening the shell and cleaning it inside, it still doesn't work, so I'd guess the only solution is to actually buy a replacement button (needs some soldering).
Just in case, make sure to blow to the button, might be some dust in there.

my friends did the same thing. must be a shitty switch in there. maybe some tuner cleaner might get it working again. other then that soldering will be needed.

Same thing happened to me,you need to change the R button ribbon,that worked for me.

that must be the ribbons for sure,sometimes it does that.
