Hello, I am fairly new to the 3DS hacking experience and I've already successfully set up cfw on my 2DS and got some basic applications installed (such as the HB channel and FBI among others). I've tried to mess around with some cheats by using NTR, (which I aqcuired from the FBI by downloading and installing it from the TitleDS >Boot NTR Selector 3.). This did not turn out to be a success ; I simply could not get the NTR menu to appear after launching the game. I tried the X+Y combo, select, start, D-pad, you name it. Could somebody be kind enough to help me out here?

Did you run NTR before running your game? That's how it sets up so you can use the menu and cheats etc.

Yes, I did. I booted up NTR and when it prompted "Ready for use, you can now start the game of choice" or something along those lines, I cpushed the home button as instructed, tapped the game (which is stored on an SD card btw) abd after loading up I could not get the menu to appear.

You don't want to use selector 3, that's only for extended memory games on o3ds. You just want to use the normal selector.

Does that mean I have to uninstall the selector 3 app? And if yes, how do I do that?

You can keep both, but if you want to get rid of the home menu clutter go into system settings -> data mangement and then uninstall Boot NTR Selector 3

Great thanks to you. Worked like a charm.
