Hacking NTR Cheats issues - exception occurred

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to have NTR cheats working on my n3dsxl but whenever i launch a game, i keep getting "exception occurred". This is what i have done.

Used the guide:

Downloaded and installed BootNTR.cia (v3.2)
Downloaded NTR CFW 3.6 and put ntr.n3ds.bin to the root of my sdcard
Created the folder "plugin" in the root of the sd card. Within plugin folder /gameid/cheat.plg
Tried ShadowTrance's release but i get an unsupported version.

Running CFW Luma9.1

Am i doing anything incorrectly or missing any steps?

Does that say sm or am? For some reason i'm having trouble seeing what it says for current process.

3dbrew redirects me to the service manager for sm, so it seems to be an issue with the service manager? I don't know what could be wrong.
@TurdPooCharger do you have any clue about this? I'm stumped.

yepers. Don't exactly know why it's erroring out because of a game though

First of all, if you are on any firmware above 11.4, it's never gonna work. NTR got cancelled and replaced by Nanquitas's NTR Selector, normal NTR doesn't support the newer firmwares, so try the NTR Selector first, then it should work right: https://github.com/Nanquitas/BootNTR/releases (If you check the dates, normal NTR last was updated in like 2017, while NTR Selector just a couple months ago)

Sorry, late reply. Lol, not a clue. Future reference, I'm a noob with game hacks and mod plugins. Heh.
