The wiki and those post were create for me, yes.

In the first post on thread there are not anything references, but in the next post that you can see there are much references to speedfly (page) or Optantic (author).

I think that is not necesary more references.
The Main post where the files are is the most important and where people will look at. There's credit for ntr cfw in the first post, it would be much better to also include the cheat plugin authors or the source of the original files as well

This is working great with rxtools.

Was on Firmware V2 on old 3DS. Updated to 4.5 via Luigi's mansion rom via sky3ds kart
Installed gateway files and went to gateway app via browser exploit
Saved backup of system nand. Created emunand.
unlinked systemnand from emunand via formatting system with sd card removed and inserting later
Updated emunand to latest version 10.2
Installed RXtools 2.6 (Still some issues with mset and seems to do the installing on every entry - to look into it, but working
Installed FBI to emunand via rxtools
Installed some CIA game backups via FBI to emunand
Installed NTR CFW Cia file (with additional file in root) via FBI
placed some cheat plugins in root

Now can boot into rxtools via web browser exploit (via 4.5 system nand) and boot to emunand.

From there, NTR is run, and then the desired game rom and ingame cheats/screenshots work just fine :-) X and Y together brings up the ntr screen with some other options

Done: in the wiki, in the list, you will can see now in "Desarrollador", the source of the cheats, now you will can not say that it are stolen. ;)

There is only a disassembly on github, because its closed source. Only BootNTR is open source.

Then, @cell9 did NTR.bin with closed source? Why?

@cell9, could you give me the source code (or upload in github) of NTR.bin? I had done a translation to spanish of your CFW but I can not translate correctly NTR menu (well, only I can translate this menu with Notepad++... and with the caracter limit) and I would do the correct and a complete translation.

Maybe he did it, because then it could be modified to load encrypted roms using layered FS(dont know if it realy would be possible), or because the source code is not as clean as he hoped. But I would like to read the sourcecode to, because it could allow me to make my freeMultiPatcher running in the background, which would allow me to patch the eshop for cfw users(and other applications).

Well, if he did not released the source code of NTR.bin because with this we (maybe) would can execute encrypted roms, is a illogical: We need a 9.2 or under (kernel) for use this CFW, and this CFW, is like a plugin that other CFW bigger (to due this, we can execute encrypted roms with others methods without use NTR).

I don't know the real reason, but its his project, and his decision to make it completely open or only allow people to use it.
rxTools for example was only partialy open source a time ago, because it would have been to easy to remove the signature checks with the source code. Now its one of the big alternatives for the gateway.
But I would like to be able to read the source an modify it(At the moment I have a modified binary with a changed path and filename pattern for screenshots, but it causes some graphical bugs, which would not be there, if I compile it with them.)

Hi

i need some help here.

I would like the change temporarily region of my o3DS in order to receive japanese pokemon event on EUR pokemon game.

So i'm trying to use NTR with the language plugin, but no matter how i try nothing changes when i use NTR or the language plugin.

I think there is something i didn't understand about NTR.
I use the CIA from NTR 3.0 and i works perfectly (or at least, the NTR says it works and says me to go back to home menu).
But then nothing changes in the menu or the games. Please can someone explain me what really is NTR what is it made for ?

(sysnand 9.2, emuNand 10.2, gw 3.4.1, themehax boot installed and rxTools)

Edit : i just tried NTR on my zelda OOT cartridge and the extra menu (X + Y) was available. So i guess NTR is working. Also, my game/console is french, but the language selected on the plugin was CN (chinesse i think) and the game was in english O.O is OOT chinesse in english ?

Hi

I probably did a mistake previously, because i tried it again on pokémon and now i get my pokemon.

Screenshot incomming :D

Anyway, it's said that NTR does not support CIA or ROM but i'm still able to launch my CIA

it's written : the gift has been received.

Of course you can. You are launching it in top of a cfw...

So when NTR is launched, it does not really replace the current CFW

I just tried GW emunand and NTR few minutes ago. It appears that NTR blocks the GW multi rom menu (select button). But if a game is loaded (not launched) before using NTR, it will stay and is launchable in NTR mode.

Not on my end... I just tried it and my multirom menu opens and loads fine
