Here's the thing, I downloaded NSMB (USA)and tried to run it from USB Loader GX without patching or anything and it didn't work (with error 002 fix)
So I dowloaded the patch to fix the iso, but I don't know how to use it, i saw some tutorials here but it seems that they were all to the PAL version of the game
What can I do to make the game work? ( I am on 4.2U updated by waninkoko's method and I think the last IOS I installed was 222)

Sorry by being such a noob xD

Definitely update via GX feature. As far as I know, the newer versions don't require patching of the game but will run the patched one as well. Also update your cIOS to rev14 (if you already havent)

i have never been able to update my usbloader GX through the program itself, ive always had to download the new version online and install it on the card,
when i do it from the program it says it updated but the rev is still the same hence the above

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
