I stick to wii where possible then use vwii OC for games that need it like Toy story 2
too bad not even a Vwii OC could make last impact playable
buut its still better than how retroarch switch handles it

does wii64 rice have both rice and glide built into it?
where as not64 has just glide?

Sry about brain going poo poo mode i just wanna make sure i get these things right before i make any edits to the compat list

so wii 64 glN64 was the OG
not64 was the new and improved updated version to wii 64 glN64
then came wii64 rice afterward with the goal of getting DK64 and goldeneye playable on a wii
is this correct?

And would it be acceptable when editing the compat list, to refer too wii 64 rice as "rice" and not64 as "not64"?

and third question, the com[pat guide mentions that Beetle Adventure Racing's tree textures work on wii64 rice
but when i play it yeah those trees are still fucked, is this just me experiencing this or is the guide just inaccurate on this one?

welp caution to the wind, added legend of peach and updated the smash remix entry on the compat list
still playing jiggies of time (its a long ass rom hack) on not64 (plays well 7hrs in no major issues yet)

Wii64 has two separate builds with either glN64 or Rice Video.
Not64 only has glN64.
Neither has Glide64 nor GLideN64 (based on glN64).

Both are playable in Not64, albeit with some slowdown.

Rice Video isn't necessary to fix those games.
rice does fix some graphical glitches that many games have tough, mainly 2d textures errors on gl64 portion of wii64/not64 gl64

also dont know if you noticed exterms on banjo tooie right at the beggining if you go to an area that has hole in the wall and theres so honeycombs to the right, the area where you got the boots on banjo kazzoie that has some jumps, if you jump to the hole the screen goes totaly white and you cant see anything until you leavue the hole, prespective error?

Also did you ever got around to find out why tarzan boots with cpu clock devider set to 1 but doesnt when its set to 2 or 3? timming error? some wierd issue?

actualy you dont need oc for toy story 2 you just need to set cpu clock divider to 1 to run fullspeed mostly and btw rice has better gfx, not sure if you have the most up to date versions of wii64 emukid released a beta on github that isnt still an official release where he added cpu clock divider and some fixes to wii64 both versions you can find it here

just use the dols wiivc.dol even for the wii since they are the only ones with speed limiter working at this time

tarzan boots on everything rice and not64 as long as the cpu clock divider is set to one but there is a catch the game will crasha fter a certain ammount of time im guessing there is a leak or something where after x seconds it will crash.

there is still some diferences, for instance fix94 rice i think the one you have has correct trees textures while emukid one doesnt so yeah there are alot of diferences and so on i got my sd card full of n64 emulator versions i got

Not64 20200514 this version is the only one where turok 3 enemies have no black squares under they feet, you only see the square if they are on very uneven ground like a very high slop or downhill while the latest one you get black square on every enemy and every flat terrain

wii64 rice fix94 recompile 1.2(like i said it has fixed trees on beetle adventure racing)

beta from emukid(shadowman doesnt crash when collecting soulds on wii64 while it does on not64 also has wiiugamepad support which not64 lacks)

wii64 rice beta from emukid

fix94 mupen64gc-fix94 r2 which is another version of wii64 and has some diferent things here and there.or isntance here wetrix besides somo small texture issues works no problem.
