Strange things happened to me lately as I was playing Nostalgia.
I found two plans of parts for airship.
Black Blade plans and Dragon Gem plans
When I walk to Kanbei (items creator living in tokyo) he is pronouncing the names of objects, then they disappear from my inventory, and they dont appear in his shop. Is this some kind of bug, hopw to fix that ?

Did you buy them already? That's quite odd as that hasn't happenned to me. Did you trim the rom? I can't think of any other reason this would happen. they are suppossed to leave your inventory, but you can then buy them from him...

Generally most of the "let's cram stuff into other stuff" projects are learning experiences, they're not meant to result in an actually useful product. But you learn a lot.

Once you've done a few of those, building something actually useful will come much easier.

I made myself a soundboard handheld w amplified speaker and 3d printed a case with 10 buttons. Loaded it with bird sounds. I sit on my porch alot and use it to talk to the birds, and they respond back to it. I think its cool but wifey thinks I'm crazy.

I've been on a horror manga binge recently, and I have one thing to say...
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    What is otaku?
  • Veho @ Veho:
A Japanese term for nerds who are obsessed with one particular interest even more than their fellow nerds.
  • Veho @ Veho:
And that's coming from a culture where perfectionism and obsession is the societal norm.
  • Veho @ Veho:
So when they call someone "obsessed" you know it's serious.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Lol damn
  • Veho @ Veho:
So anyway Miyazaki was saying how so much of modern anime and manga was being made by shut-ins who grew up on anime and have never interacted with human beings, so all they know is tropes.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Stand alone complex?
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Wut?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Sounds like when people socially isolate themselves they are standing alone
  • Veho @ Veho:
Never heard of it in that context. "Standalone complex" will always be that Ghost in the Shell series
