Hacking Noobidubidu question

I bought a wii for some days ago, and i would like to play some downloaded games, the problem is that it's running the terrible version of 4.3E, and i wanted to keep my Warranty... I saw on the WII softmod sticky thread, that i could install the Hackmii as an new IOS, so when i turn my WII on, it will start asking me if i would like to start WII IOs or Bootmii IOS, is this possible i want to play downloaded games, and still keep me warranty ?...

No. According to Nintendo. Any software modification voids the warranty.

If you want to play backups, you have to softmod and/or hardmod your Wii, and both void your warranty. As long as you follow the guide exactly, you aren't in any danger of needing to cash in on your warranty. My advice would be to softmod it anyway.

you can get you neighbor's wii and softmod it then play backup games. that way your warranty is still in-tact
