ah ok well ima focus on getting some more homebrew apps for now. i have to wait until i actually get free runners. and is there a way to install tickets for eshop to my 3ds right now and redownload the games on eshop afterwards? or not until i downgrade?

It's as easy as soldering a few points. Easy is relative.

send it to a harmodder. All i did was just replace my top screen and i bricked my 3ds. Installing a whole entire hardmod i can only imagine is worse

yup, AFAIK you dont even need an entrypoint

You have to buy it on the hacked 3DS IIRC. I just did this recently.

Yes. There are other exploit games too, Plailect's guide has a good list. They're all usually pretty cheap, just pick whichever one I guess.

First, the dsiware used to perform downgrade is fieldrunners, not free runners. Second, you MUST have a legit purchase of that game or it won't be transferred to the console you want to DG. I recommend OP read the guide before further asking here. It covers everything you need to know.
